About Us

Murphy and Associates Medical - Legal Consulting, a legal nurse consulting and life care planning firm, was founded in 2008 by Sharon Murphy R.N., CLNC, CNLCP, MCP-C

Cases are accepted Nationwide for Plaintiff and Defense. Services include Life Care Plan Development, Life Care Plan Critiques/Rebuttal Reports, Medical Cost Projections, Attendance at Defense Medical Examinations, and Screening Cases for Merit.

Sharon Murphy is a Registered Nurse, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, Certified Nurse Life Care Planner, and is Certified in Medical Cost Projections.

She has consulted with plaintiff and defense attorneys, insurance companies, and other legal nurse consultants on cases involving the care of the elderly, suspected elder abuse/neglect, personal injury, and medical malpractice.

As a life care planner, she has developed life care plans for individuals with traumatic brain injury and multiple injuries from falls, work-related accidents, and motor vehicle accidents.

In addition, her nursing background includes medical surgical nursing in the hospital and 20 years of extensive home health care experience. She cared for and supervised employees caring for individuals throughout the life span with acute and chronic medical conditions such as:

Home ventilator-dependent individuals (Adult and Pediatric).
