I can help you! I am Sharon Murphy. I have 32 years of experience reviewing medical records while working as a registered nurse, consultant, and life care planner. I know exactly where to look within the medical records for the pertinent information you need which saves you time and money. 

I will analyze the records, interpret the medical terminology, and point out any preexisting conditions, and any other crucial facts to the case prepared in an easy-to-understand format of your choice.

I am the founder and owner of Murphy and Associates Medical Legal Consulting. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1991 and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC®) since 2008. 

Since my certification as a legal nurse consultant, I have consulted with plaintiff and defense attorneys, insurance companies, and other legal nurse consultants on cases involving the care of the elderly, personal injury, suspected elder abuse/neglect, and medical malpractice. 

In addition, I am a Board-Certified Nurse Life Care Planner with experience in preparing Life Care Plans for individuals with traumatic brain Injury (TBI), multiple injuries sustained from falls, work-related accidents, and motor vehicle accidents.   

My nursing background includes medical surgical nursing in the hospital and 20 years of extensive home health care experience caring for individuals throughout the life span with acute and chronic medical conditions. Specialized areas of my nursing practice included individuals with spinal cord injury, children with cerebral palsy, birth injuries, and other special needs, home ventilator-dependent individuals, care of the elderly, and quality assurance performance improvement.

As a consultant, I have also consulted with home health agencies providing such services as medical record review, development of policies and procedures, performed mock surveys to determine agency compliance with State and Federal Regulations, reviewing medical records in physicians' offices, and participated in research projects involving children with special needs.

With my diverse nursing, consulting, and life care planning experience, I bring your team a unique blend of expertise.  All services are customized to meet your specific needs.
